4th of July items
I think it'd be awsome if you could get like fireworks for the fourth of July in Guild Wars, and possibly a fun little skill that shoots off fireworks in an explorable area! This is just an idea I had, comment if you wish

Sure, why not add an in-game event for the Danish Liberation day the 4th of May while we're at it?

Reason stated in post number 2.

Unless they have an event for the liberation day of every country in the world (which will end up being basically every day), it's not fair to only offer it for Americans or for an American holiday...unless their next campaign takes place in America, which it doesn't.

Sigh. I'm really getting tired of these threads, mostly because somebody always goes "4th of July is American only noob."
Last year on 4th of July Weekend, A.net DID have a holiday event, they just didn't call it that. It was called dragonfest and was the "aniversary of the defeate of Shiro the Betrayer by Nika." Chances are, it will happen again next year.
So yeah, silly suggestion since it already exists.

If you get 4th of July, I then expect we should get Guy Fawkes, since it at least is an international holiday.

he is through sarcasm, he even points out why by stating an example as to why the idea is flawed. Thanks for listening!

You're still cutting out too many countries there. So you're idea isn't any better.

-A Event that coinceidantely occurs at the same time of any real life event, sure why not.
-An even that celebrates a specifique country Day, dont forget Canada, Filand, Germany, Franch, Englad, Italy, Australia, Twailand, Korea, China, Japan, Mexico, Scotand, Ireland, Spain, portugal, Poland, Russia, Mongolia, Greece.
Want me to go on? I think you get my point, if you celebrate one country B-Day, then you have to cebrate them all.

The fourth of July celebration was the first dragon festival. Maybe this time around they'll have the fireworks that were introduced at the new year's festival.
